Josh has worked as an ecologist in grasslands, forests, woodland and pastures throughout southern Australia. He has a passion for regenerative agriculture and the search for ways to incorporate native vegetation management into productive and profitable farms. For the last 15 years Josh has been undertaking research and developing practical experience in the ecology of agricultural systems. He worked as a senior research ecologist with the Victorian governments Arthur Rylah Institute from 2002 -2008, running ecological research programs in agricultural landscapes across the state. Since 2006 he has been a visiting research scientist with CSIRO Ecosystem Sciences. Josh has published widely on the management of native vegetation within farming landscapes and his research informs on-ground management and regional, state and national environmental policy.
He continues to work with industry, government and landholders providing advice on policy, management of native vegetation within agricultural contexts, research design and analysis of ecological data. He has extensive experience working with landholder groups including one on one advice, workshops and training.

Annabel manages the nursery and seed production area. She has had a long fascination with plants and their human uses beginning with research in Canada and PNG on traditional plant usage. She has also previously worked at the Australian National Botanic Gardens and for what was the Department of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries as a scientific assessment officer for plant imports. Annabel has also had a long-term interest in sustainable, regenerative and ethical agriculture.
